Children's Church takes place very Sunday morning of the year (except when there are All Age Services) and caters for children aged 3-15.  After participating in the start of the 10.30am service, we go down to the hall for activities which include games, stories, quizzes, songs, videos, drama etc. all based around the theme or Bible Story for each week.  We use the Scripture Union material which covers the core themes and passages of the Old and New Testament in a three year cycle.  Each Sunday the primary and pre-school children begin with some activities all together to introduce the theme. Then for the second half of the session we split into three groups: “Bubbles” for pre-school children, “Splash” for P1-3 children, and “X-stream” for P4-7, so that the children can explore the story or theme with activities to suit their age.  There is also a group for young people in S1-S4.  They meet in "The Garage" (our youth room) where they have refreshments, Bible teaching activities and discussion in an informal environment.

The crèche runs during every Sunday morning service and caters for children under the age of 3.  The group normally starts when the children leave for Children’s Church but if required, can start earlier.

We have two toddler groups which run each week during school term time and meet in the Church Hall. One meets on a Tuesday from 10am until 11.30am and the other on a Thursday also from 10am until 11.30am.  There are many different things to play with including ride-on toys, children's kitchen, dressing up clothes, a climbing frame with slide, books and craft items.  The cost is £1.50 (per family) each week.  This includes a snack and drink for the children, and tea, coffee and biscuits for the adults.  All pre-school children are welcome - including babies.
